He y'all,
If you're anything like me you just cannot start your day without a cup of coffee, in my case a quad mocha, so here's a picture of our good friend caffeine!
Yep I'm shakin', brain's awake, time to go to work. :-)

Life is full of good times and bad. Yesterday brought one of those bad times.
Joanna Hellwig, 16 years old, was killed in a car accident. Her younger sister Libby, age 13, is in stable condition at a local hospital.
When my wife told me who it was all I could think was "Please God no!". This is a tragedy that will not soon be forgotten by our little community. Joanna touched many lives in her short 16 years with us.
My thoughts have been wondering all day. Everything from "How is her family dealing with this?" to "Why her?" to thanking God for my children. It's not easy to deal with, and I only knew Joanna from conversations with her during basketball season. She was that special. You could tell the moment you met her there was something about her. Kind, gentle, polite, happy. These are the word that come to mind. We'll miss you Joanna.
A parting thought for those of you with children. Make sure you tell them how much you love them as often as you can. We just don't know how much time we have.

Hi ya,
Last night Tay and I went out frog hunting again. This time around we didn't find any but we had a nice walk and talk together. Got to watch the sun set together, life is good.
After everyone went to bed I popped Finding Forrester into the DVD player. Boy what a treat! If you haven't had a chance to see this movie I'd recommend running out today and renting a copy. What a wonderful movie! I'm not going to spoil it for you, go rent it and see for yourself.
